Job Description:
· Monitoring of Production activities in this one of the oldest and leading Chlor-alkali Plant of Pakistan, coordination with other departments including Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation and Quality Control etc. to optimize the process parameters to keep plant on-stream.
· Managed plants including Brine System, DSA & IEM, Caustic Solidification Plant, Caustic Evaporation Plant, HCl Synthesis Plants, Na2SO3 Plant, H2SO4 Plant, Cl2 Liquefaction Plant, Ca-Hypo Plant and Auxiliaries including Pumping Station, Demin. Water Plant, Water Softening Plant, Cooling Towers, Instrument Air Units, Boilers, Chilled Water Units etc.
Position: Assistant Manager (R & D) March, 2004 to April 2008
Organization: Sitara Peroxide Ltd., 26-K.M. Sheikhupura Rd, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
Job Description:
· Participated in Erection, Precommissioning/Commissioning and start-up activities of this first ever Hydrogen Peroxide manufacturing facility of Pakistan.
· Monitored the production activities in Hydrogen Plant (Steam-Methane Reforming by M/s Pan-American Enterprises Inc., USA), Hydrogen Peroxide Plant (Auto-oxidation Process by M/s Akkim, Turkey) & Hydrogen Peroxide Concentration Plant by M/s Sulzer Chemtech, Singapore.
· Oversee day-to-day production activities including material & energy balance and making of production reports.
· Provided technical assistance as non-routine R D work in several industrial case studies.
Position: Trainee Engineer June, 1998 to Aug., 2000
Organization: Dhan Fibres Limited, Hattar, Haripur, Pakistan.
Job Description:
· Got on-the-job training at different sections of Polymer Department including PTA Charging & conveying, MEG Decanting, HTM Plant, Slurry Preparation, Esterification, Poly-condensation, Chip making Section and Utilities.
· Responsibilities included monitoring of production activities on the distributed control system workstations.
