Our monthly meeting was held at the KC hall in Ennis on Monday, March 20, 2017.
The meeting was opened at 7:33p.m. by our Faithful Navigator SK Glenn Beck.

Faithful Friar Sir Knight Dennis Bryant reminded us of the Feast of the Annunciation on March 25th, 9 months before Christmas when Mary was visited by the Angel Gabriel
Faithful Comptroller Sir Knight John Casarez reported 28Sir Knight have not paid their dues
Faithful Purser Sir Knight Joe Kucharezyk reported $6,420.29 in our checking account and $7,175.87 in our Chalice Account for a total of $13,596.16. $180 in dues were collected.
Sir Knight Hugh Reynolds reported on behalf of the Scholarship Committee only one has applied, a member of the Corsicana Council. The deadline is April 21 and a reminder will be sent out.
Unfinished Business – Council 8417 is donating a casino to us in Arlington and we can expect to earn $1,000. We need 10-11 people to work it and 15% will go to 8417. A sign-up sheet is forthcoming. It will be held May 6 from 12:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Sir Knight John Casarez reported 6 new members for our District Exemplification set for the month of October. Site and date to be determined.
A presentation of a PFN sword was made to PFN Lupe Landin and in his comments he spoke of doing his best, working as a team and brotherly unity and having faith in Jesus Christ.
No report of Trustees
Under New Business a motion was made andseconded, discussion ensued and motion carried to give $500 to Military Chaplain Fund.
Need someone to replace Sir Knight John Casarez forworking towards ourPatriotic Award as he cannot attend the Memorial Service at the National Cemetery.
A potential Flag Retirement ceremony in Ennis was discussedas another project that goes towards our Patriotic Award.
It was agreed to donate $50 to the Alzheimer’s Foundation on behalf of Ann Marak.
Meeting was closed with closing ceremony and prayer. Next meeting will be the Corsicana Wine tasting event.
