Position Purpose: / To support and assist the MPHI Learning Portfolio Managers, Clinical Learning Coordinators and Support Facilitators in the development, coordination and successful delivery of new training programs.
To improve the effectiveness of the delivery of learning programs across MPHI.
Qualifications: / Completed or nearing completion of Master’s degree in learning and development, education, professional development, adult learning
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current)
Extensive knowledge and experience in resource development
Experience in leadership and management of a multidisciplinary team
Working knowledge of adult learning principles relevant to healthcare across a number of disciplines

Ensures the program delivery and implementation of quality clinical care /
  • Development, delivery and coordination of clinical training programs.
  • Provides appropriate and continuing support for clinical learning coordinators and facilitators in relevant areas.
  • Ensures the provision of a flexible, supportive learning environment for all learners.
  • Formulate clinical orientation process for employees.
  • Coordinates the implementation and evaluation of education programs that compliment work practices and clinical change initiatives.
  • Maintains and applies current knowledge of external and internal policies relating to clinical nursing practice.
  • Liaises with appropriate personnel to develop, maintain and review education initiatives.
  • Develops and maintain professional standards of knowledge of policy and procedure.

  • In conjunction with the Learning Team:
a)develop and conduct a training needs analysis to establish the needs for Learning
b)develop an annual organisational planner and training plan
c)provide quality reports and evaluations of all programs

e)maintain continuous policy and procedure review and development.
