Scientist Formulation Analytics (MP0142)
Molecular Partners AG is a thriving and steadily growing clinical stage Biotech Company located in Zurich-Schlieren, Switzerland. The development of a broad portfolio of therapeutic product candidates in oncology and ophthalmology based on our proprietary DARPin platform allowed a successful listing of the company on the SIX Swiss Exchange (MOLN). Next to our own proprietary pipeline of drug candidates we have entered into collaborations with international pharmaceutical companies, including Allergan.
To support our Formulation and Analytics (F&A) team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Scientist to join our CMC group.
This challenging and diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
· Contribute to analytical method development and validation.
· Plan, run, analyze and report internal and external protein formulation and product development studies.
· Oversee and manage external mass spectrometry-based analytical collaborations.
· Perform stability tests, forced degradation and other analytical molecule and drug product characterization studies.
· Write reports and present results in internal or external meetings.
· Collaborate with internal teams and with external partners such as analytical service providers or contract manufacturing organizations.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Master of Science or PhD in life sciences with a few years of relevant analytical experience in the biotechnological or biopharmaceutical industry.
You should further bring along:
· Hands-on experience of protein analysis methods such as HPLC, electrophoresis, particle analysis, etc.
· In-depth knowledge of mass spectrometry of proteins.
· Formulation development experience is a plus.
· Team player attitude paired with excellent organizational skills.
· Experienced user of MS office and statistical software.
· Proficiency in English including excellent writing skills, German is a strong asset.
