Dear Parent/Guardian:

Each year members of various Business Education Programs participate in a regional and state DECA competition. This is an opportunity for students to compete in many related fields that include: Retail Management, Sports and Entertainment, Business and Financial Services, Travel and Tourism, Automotive Services, Fashion Merchandising, and many other career competitions.

In order to offer this unique opportunity for our students, we are in need of business professionals who would be willing to share their expertise in this setting. This year, the regional competition will be held at Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill on January 9th. The state competition will be held at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City on February 27th and 28th.

Lenape DECA will also be hosting two role-play nights for our students to practice. We are looking for business professionals to help give our students feedback to help prepare them for their upcoming competition. The dates will be in November and early December. If you are interested in helping, please mark so below and I will send out dates when they are approved.

If you have never had the experience of serving as a judge for one of our conferences, I hope you will be able to fit one of these days into your busy schedule. You will have the opportunity to see very talented future executives in action. Your responsibility will be to listen to the students present their ideas and score them on a
