Old Business
1) Chamber Booth was a success.Lisa Wiebe commented that many people loved it. Her suggestion for next year would be to have it more vistor friendly and have them be able to look at the picture better.
2)Welcome Packages- Pat has put together 11 bags to begin with and they are at the Town of Morris Office to be handed out. Cheryl will send out another email trying to get more business on board.
3)Shuttle Bus-Cheryl has sent out invoices for sponsorship.
New Business
1) AGM will be on Tuesday November 6,2012 at 7:00 PM At Kamloon Restaurant
2) A new president will be be needed for the following year as Mabel will not be President for another term. Start thinking about who you would like to see as the next President
3) Morris maps are almost done and we will need to replace them. A committee of Ed Voth, Bruce Third and Lisa Wiebe has been formed to start to work on the new maps.
4) Budget- Susan will have the new budget at the next meeting
5) Note: Chamber has been moved to October 15, 2012 as the 2nd Monday in October is Thanksgiving.
Lunch & Learn Guest Speaker from Life Workplace Safety & Health and My Safety Assistant Corp. spoke on many topics that would be very informative for all business and farmers in our community.
