No Sub Contractor may be used with out the written consent of the Authority, or without the insurance documents required by the Conditions having been vetted and approved by the Authority.
Any other Sub Contractor must not be utilized without the prior consent of the Nominated Officer.
Only Sub Contractor with substantial experience of remote and sensitive working and with prior experience in this particular type of work may be considered.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any proposed Sub Contractor.

SECTION 6: PRE-TENDER HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN
SUPPLY OF MIXED GRASS SEED FOR HELICOPTER APPLICATION 2011-15
1. Scope of the Works;
The Works will require the supply of mixed grass seed, together with blending of the supplied grasses and some additional seed which may be supplied by the Authority, for helicopter application. This mixed seed is to be delivered to sites within the Peak District National Park and South Pennines SAC.
2. Programme of the Works;
The Project is to be undertaken March 2011 to March 2015.
3. Risk Assessments & Method statements
3.1. Suppliers are required to submit all their risk assessments and method statements pertaining to the works.
3.2. Tender risk assessments and Method Statements are to be returned with the completed schedule of quantities and the form of tender. Failure to return risk assessments and Method Statements pertaining to the works will result in the disqualification of the returned tender.
3.3. Risk assessments & Method Statements may be submitted on the blank format below or in the Suppliers own format.
4. Health and Safety Plan
4.1. The Supplier is to submit a copy of his Health and Safety Policy, issued to his employees, to the Nominated Officer. This will form part of the Site safety plan.
4.2. The Works are subject to risk assessment by the Supplier and the assessment will form part of the site safety plan. Prior to the Works Commencement Date the Supplier will submit any alterations to the Tender Method Statements that may be necessary for the prior written approval of the Nominated Officer. The Supplier’s Health & Safety plan will be subject to the Nominated Officer ’s prior written approval, prior to the Works Commencement Date.
