  • Montclair High School’s Ninth Grade Academy will be hosting tours for parents of 8th graders at 9:00 and 11:00 on the following dates: December 12, January 9, and January 16. Please call the Ninth Grade Academy for more information 509-4004
  • On Thursday, January 8 – Montclair High School will be hosting Eighth Grade Parent Night in the Ninth Grade Academy Atrium from 7-9 p.m
  • After School Craft Workshops will run next week on 12/15 (Grade 8), 12/16 (Grade 7), and 12/18 (Grade 6) between 2:15-4:00.A generous grant from the PTA has purchased enough supplies for 100 students to participate, FREE! Students will create a specialgift for their families...theproject is a secret to parents, but students may inquire before submitting a permission slip. A permission slip is on the reverse side of this notice. Contact Mrs. Comeau-Trudel, Art Teacher, for more information.
  • Congratulations to the Glenfield G-Force for finishing in the top ten at the Annual First Lego League Robotics Competition last weekend. Twenty-four Essex County teams participated and the G-Force finished in the top ten; the highest placing team from Montclair. The competition was broken into two parts; a research project and a Robotics building challenge. Congratulations to team members – Loren Sherman, Jacob Dodd, Jake Ephros, Henry Gifford, Susette Malloy, Dylan Lewis, Brittany Abuhoff, Nicole Baltzer, Jake Erichson, Abe Kolko, Ben Rodruguez-Vars, Gabe Weisbuch, Daniel Washington - and coaches Mrs. Norvell, Mr. Weinrib and Mrs. Washington.
  • Paper Candles; How Courage and Goodness Triumphed in an American Town comes to Union Congregational Church (176 Cooper Ave) on December 13th (2pm and 7pm) and 14th (3pm) and to B’nai Keshet Jewish Center (99 South Fullerton) on December 21st (2pm.) Come and see the true account of events that took place fifteen years ago in Billings, Montana; a serious message of standing up for others told with compassion and hilarity. Actors from Glenfield - Rachel Keller, Ayana Ayscue, Mariah Ayscue, Rachel Mayer, Kaylah Nash, Sarah McDonald and Teddi Noel Mattox – star in the production.
