Modbury walk levels explained

Modbury Walk & Talk offers regular Level 2 and 3 walks. Level 1 walks are also available, please contact the walk leaders for details.

Level1 - Upto30 minutes; suitableforthosewhocurrently do littlephysicalactivity. Usesmostly flat, hardsurfacedpaths,withnosteephillsor steps,andsuitableforwheelchairsand buggies.

Level2 - 30–60 minutes; suitableforthosewhodoa smallamountofexercisebutneedto increasetheiractivitylevels.Thewalkuses footpathsandpavementswithsome gradientsandunevenpathways.

Level3 - 60–90 minutes; suitableforthosewhodoa certainamountofphysicalactivitybutwho wishtoimprovetheirgeneralfitnessand heartrate.Thewalkusesa varietyof footpaths,roadsandtracks, someofwhich maybeuneven,muddyand slippery.These walksmayinvolvesteps,inclinesandstiles.
