Process for reporting from working groups towards MIG (feedback from Michael)

MIWP-16 should "report" to the technical sub-group. But it may raise questions or issues related to policy to the policy sub-group. The process would be to present issues at the regular MIG technical sub-group meetings and discuss them there. The MIG technical sub-group then should decide on how to proceed.

Other actions

All other actions completed.

Review and discussion of the very first draft version of the requirements document

Paul presented a very first draft (with most requirements missing) based on the Volere requirements specification template. The reason for adhering to a well-known template is to minimize the risk for missing some requirements and to increase the probability that all MIWP-16 members share the same understanding of the requirements associated to the dashboard. The participants agreed to the use of this template.
A slightly different version of the template with an extensive description of its various sections can be found on various internet websites (e.g.

These requirements should cover the dashboard functionalities towards end-users and the process for populating the dashboard.

It has been clarified during the meeting that the dashboard should be installable at MS premises if they wish so. This implies that “extension” at MS level (ref. question D-B2 of the questionnaire) should not be interpreted only as a possibility for a given MS to add functionalities through plugins or similar techniques to the central dashboard in order to address the specific needs of this MS with respect to its national data.

The need for multilingual support in the interface has been added to the list of requirements identified during the brainstorming session held during the 7th web meeting.

Actions:Everyone to provide input to the requirements document based (1) on the agreements made during the Arona meeting (and written in the minutes) and (2) on the answers to the questionnaire (available as an annex to the minutes of the Arona meeting) by Wednesday 11 June.
Please provide your input either directly into the document or via ticket(s) in redmine, always including the reference to the section of the template to which your input belongs (e.g. as done at by Marc).

Topics for discussion at our physical meeting in Aalborg

The focus should be on reviewing and agreeing on the requirements document.

The MIWP-16 workshop at the INSPIRE conference will take place on Tuesday 17 June at 14:00 in Nybrogade 6, rum 1.101, Aalborg University.
