CERTIFIED SCHOOL BUS DRIVER TRAINER
INSTRUCTOR WORKSHOP
WHO: All public school district and bus contractor personnel that are planning to become a certified school bus driver trainer instructor.
WHAT: The following workshop is for public school districts and bus contractor personnel to be certified school bus driver trainer instructors. The participants will receive classroom instruction over a three day period and all curriculum materials including the Missouri School Bus Driver Trainer Curriculum and Reference Manual and the Operation Lifesaver training video. A comprehensive examination is given at the end of the training workshop.To be certified, a score of 80% or more must be achieved. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate indicating completion of all requirements as a Certified School Bus Driver Trainer Instructor in Missouri.
WHEN: The workshop will be administered over a three day period, July 25 through July 27, 2018. All participants of the workshop must possess a valid commercial driver’s license with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsement.
WHERE: The workshop will be held at the Matthews-Crawford American Legion Post 131, 733 East Young St., Warrensburg 64093. Check-In will take place from 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Lunch is included in your registration fee for all three days.
HOW TO REGISTER:Please fill out the registration form and mail to the MSBCA Office at 2101 Moll Ave., Perryville, MO 63775 or e-mail to . After submission of your registration, an invoice will be mailed to the employer’s address along with registration confirmation. You must fill out the attached form and mail it to the MSBCA Office no later than June 30, 2018. An additional room reservation for the night before the workshop begins is optional at a rate of $85.00. If you would like the additional night of lodging please mark the box on the registration form. Otherwise two nights of lodging is included in the course fee at the Warrensburg Comfort Inn. Please mark the appropriate box.
