007/2016 HIGHWAYS ISSUES
Cllr Pratt queried the position regarding the speed monitoring equipment at
Whitecross. The current status is to be ascertained.
008/2016 BURIAL GROUND
Similarly, the position was queried regarding work to be carried out. The
current status is to be ascertained.
009/2016 BURLAWN PLAYING FIELD
i)The contractor was due to commence work on the pathway, in November,
but nothing appears to have been carried out. The current status is to be
ascertained.
ii)The hedge is to be reduced in height, to Cornish Hedge level, to facilitate
visual monitoring by the housing nearby. The grass cutting contractor to be
advised.
iii)The grass cutting contract is to be revisited

NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN
An update report from Cllr Malloni was read out to the meeting.
011/2016 COMMUNITY FUNDS from Renewable Energy Projects
A report from Cllr Malloni, on the REG fund from the St Breock Downs
Wind Farm, was read out to the meeting.
012/2016 FINANCIAL MATTERS
i)To receive accounts for payment and/finance report: None
ii)To consider Precept for 2017/18 – deferred to January meeting
013/2016 CORRESPONDENCE
i)Winter Well Being
014/2016 PARISH MATTERS to be brought to the attention of the Parish Clerk
i)A request has been sent to Mrs Hoskin requesting that documentation be
returned as a priority.
ii)Various people to be notified of change of point of contact.
iii)Cllr Pratt commented on the recent Community Network meeting, in
particular, the presentation on the Health & Social Care Plan 2016 – 2021.
iv)Cllr Jarrett advised the meeting on the Appeal Hearing procedure. Cllrs
Bellringer and Jones will sit on this panel, as independent members.
Cornwall Association of Local Councils has arranged for someone to chair
the Panel, to maintain this independence.
The Appeal Hearing will be held next Thursday, 15th December 2016, at
10.00 hrs, subject to everyone`s availability.
v)Cllr Semmens reported that on the Camel Trail at Grogley Halt, by the
double gates on the siding, at Kent`s Meadow, the concrete posts are down
with metal protruding. This is considered a significant hazard and will be
reported accordingly.
vi)Cllr Starling laid the Remembrance wreath in church, on behalf of the
Parish Council.
vii)The Rector of St Breock Church mentioned that cars were parked in the
car park, without good reason.
viii)Cllr Bellringer reported that rubbish in Ruthern Valley has now been
removed.
ix)The External Auditor to confirm whether the Annual Return has been
audited.
015/2016 DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next meeting will be held on Monday, 12th December 2016.
The first meeting in the new year will be held on Wednesday,
4th January 2017.
016/2016 CLOSURE OF MEETING
There being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting at
9.06 pm.
