With spring the Scout visits to the Depot will be begin in earnest. There are defined requirements for the History Badge for the Girl Scout Daisies, with a visit to the Herndon Depot being one of the requirements. HHS has received a request for a visit from the Daisy Troop in first grade at Herndon Elementary School for Sunday, 18 May 2014 (tentative). HHS President Waddell requested volunteers to help with the Daisy tours and also volunteers to serve as docents on Sunday afternoon from noon to 3:00PM when the Depot is open.

President Waddell suggested the HHS launch a membership drive to recruit members to share in the rich history of Herndon.
