Action:Bee and Vance to discuss outside assistance in construction of Regan’s Playground with Dean.
3.2 DPS P&C Banner
Brad and Gemma have met with Annabelle, the Manea student who will be designing the banner. This will be an assessable project for her.
3.3Student banking scheme

3.4 2016 student session with Adam Przytula
Session will take place Wednesday 30 March 2016 with all year 6 classes and the year 5/6 class.
3.5Lunch sponsorship of LOTE teacher assistant
The LOTE teaching assistant from China is provided on the basis that their travel and lunch is provided. As discussed last meeting, the paperwork required for the school to buy lunch is onerous. All agreed that the P&C could provide a canteen lunch.
Motion:
That the Dalyellup Primary School P&C provide canteen lunch to the Chinese teaching assistant of up to a total value of $1,500 for the year. Carried

3.6Fundraising
Easter raffle:
22 prizes were on offer and just over $1,200 raised
Mothers Day stall:
All good have been ordered and a volunteers list will be advertised at start of term 2.
Venue to be decided closer to time.
Movie Night:
Forms sent home today. Only 100 tickets will be sold to prevent having to organise a liquor licence. Tickets are $20.
Woolworths donating a platter. Donations for door prizes will be sought next – so if you can assist please contact Gemma. Wine donations from parents greatly appreciated – white wine seemed to be preferred at last year’s event.
Motion: That the Dalyellup Primary School P&C fund up to $200 to be for catering (pizza, spring rolls, drinks) at the movie night. Carried
Fete:
Gemma reported that at the first meeting of the fete sub-committee a $10,000 profit goal was set. All agreed with Gemma that assigning the money raised to a specific project would assist with fundraising and provide great momentum. A new playground in the year 6 area would be much appreciated.
Motion: That the profits made from the 2016 DPS P&C School Fete be put towards playground equipment. Carried
Dean to provide Gemma with contact that knows legislation around public liability and how to maximise sponsorship.
Gemma has itemised all the help required and will advertise that.
Stallholder applications have been approved by GQ and will go out after Easter. All stallholders will have to provide their own insurance. P&C insurance only covers our stalls.
Location of all stalls: oval
Location of food: under cover area with preparation in canteen
Food variety: sausage sizzle, beef & gravy rolls, hamburgers, chicken burgers, sausage rolls, pies, nachos, hot chips. All of which Marg can help us source.
Other P&C stalls: fairy floss, popcorn, icecreams, plants, books, raffle jars, odd & ends, painting plaster ornaments (kids activity).
The new events coordinator from Satterley was intending to attend tonights meeting, but had to cancel. She was hoping to get an idea of what we need. Instead she will be meeting Gemma at 9.15am on Thursday 31 March.
3.7Year 6 graduation awards
Following discussion around what the graduating year 6 students receive all agreed that the current package is great and that the P&C does not need to provide anything further.
3.8iPad for Reading Reward Programme
Lots of support for Reading Rewards Programme to continue in 2015 format with books and wristbands given away as various milestones reached and one ipad for the prize draw.
Motion:That the DPS P&C support the Reading Rewards Programme by providing up to $1,500 for books, wristbands and one ipad.

Heather has been going back thorough canteen wages, made corrections and has repaid Jeanne the outstanding amount owed to her.
Last year in our August meeting we all agreed that we would fund the Maths trolleys.
Motion: That the Dalyellup Primary School P&C provide $9,570 for the purchase of Maths trolleys as described by Phil Greenmount in our 10 August 2015 meeting. Carried

7 / Principal’s Report
Principal’s Report / Attached.
Gary reminded us about the Easter Tuesday holiday and that the children return to school on Wednesday 27 April.
Gary then introduced Dean Carter, father of two, chiropractor and public health enthusiast. Dean would like to donate his time to assist parents and the school community by publishing public health information via the skoolbag app or our Facebook page or other suitable means. All agreed that it would be an excellent idea to have a collection of information approved by the P&C that could be rolled out over the term/year. For example: publishing a link to the Tasty site on Facebook where short videos succinctly teach how to cook (see

8 / General Business / 8.1 Mature trees in playground
Eleven semi mature trees planted in spring 2015 are all doing well and looking great. The school would like to plant another eleven just before winter and seeks our assistance. All agreed larger more robust trees are very worthwhile and do better than seedlings.
Motion:
That the DPS P&C provide up to $12,000 for the purchase of semi mature trees to be planted around the school. Carried
8.2Nomination of Sharon Attree to WACSSO Council
Sharon’s current term expires shortly and she is re-nominating for another term on the WACSSO Council. DPS P&C would like to see her continue in that role.
Motion:That the DPS P&C endorses the nomination of Sharon Attree to the WACSSO Council for another term Carried
