Minutes of the DDC meeting held on 15/09/2016 in the Conference Hall
Of D.C’s Office, Barpeta.

Shri Thaneswar Malakar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta presided over the meeting.
At the outset of the meeting the Chairman welcomed all the members present in the meeting. After self-introduction of all the officers present in the meeting, initiated the discussion as per agenda. The discussion was started with the review of the minutes of last DDC meeting and followed the review of all Deptts.:
1.Agriculture: The progress of various scheme under Agriculture department are highlighted below:-
A. RKVY : For the year 2016-17, 3.25 qtl Paddy BREADER Seeds distributed.
B. Disaster Management: No new targets for the year 2016-17 have been received as reported.
C.NFSM : No new targets for the year 2016-17 have been received as reported.
D.MIDH : Target for 2016-17 has not yet received from the Directorate.
E) National Bamboo Mission: Target for 2016-17 has not yet received from the Directorate.
F) SCCP& TSP :No schemes sanctioned by govt. till date.

I)KCC- The target for the year 2016-17 for KCC loan has been fixed at 18370 nos. ADC (Agri) DAO and LDM will finalised for finalising KCC Loan. The Achievement of KCC up to July, 2016 is as follows:

It is reported that some banks sanction KCC loan from their end. DC instructed LDM to share the figure with DAO, Agriculture, so that the reporting of KCC will be appropriate.
In reply to Deputy Commissioner’s Query on action taken to eradicate CharohaPok (Army worm).
DAO state that day to day supervision of under-five ADCs as Deputed by DC at different zone is going on so that situation may not be worsen. All the ADOs and village level workers are keeping street Virgil in the field .
J) Agriculture Engineering (Pathsala):-In absence of Asstt. Executive Engineer (Agri) Pathsala no matter could be discussed
K) Agriculture Engineering (Sorbhog):-The Chairman advised Agril. Department to report on current target only, as many earlier schemes which were already achieved were being reported.

2.PWD : The Executive Engineer, PWD(RR) informed that 265nos.of roads under PMGSY are there in the district beside other roads. Out of 265 nos. 248nos.have been completed and 17nos.of roads are yet to be completed. The incomplete schemes are targeted to be completed as per extended schedule time.

DC instructed E. E. PWD (RR) to submit list of schemes which will be completed within March 2017. Moreover DC instructed E.E. PWD (RR) to form a new committee to expedite completion of works in the disturb area and to use labours of the department for repairing of damage roads.

The Chairman asked SDO © Bajali to review the on-going schemes under PWD ® Deptt .The Executive Engineer PWD (RR) will arrange a meeting with the contractor so that progress may be discusses thoroughly.

Under SDRF
