The regular meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Buena Vista Township Fire District #2 East Vineland, meeting at the East Vineland Fire House, was called to order by the Chairman D.Ricci .

Minutes of Commissioners Meeting Month of_June 21/2016______:
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Motion to review and approve all bills submitted for payment
Total amount of bills paid was $_12,776.73 and USDA Direct $47,356.00__.
Ending balance checking $_182,124.77_. CD’s 1 @100,000.00_
Ending balance LOSAP $74,285.15______

OLD BUSINESS:D.Ricci reported that the seals in 3 doors were replaced by South Jersey Overhead Door under warranty.David stated that he will call Elmer Door to discuss with them the servicing of the doors in the future.
D.Ricci reported that the pad for the electric co trucks should be poured in the next week.
D.Ricci had a quote from Vito's Seal Coating for sealing all of the blacktop. Quote was $4,950.00 they sated that they will be able to do the job in 1 month and will need 3 days of drying time. Motion made by L.Ricci 2nd by TQuinlan to proceed with Vito's Seal Coating with all members present voting in the affirmative. W.Corsiglia-yes, D.Ricci-yes,R.Ruggeri-yes,L.Ricci-yes,T.Quinlan-yes
T.Quinlan stated that he was working with Parrish signs for the sign options on the tower.
D.Ricci reported no news on the AFG grants yet.
M.Corsiglia reported that F-1221's a/c was just repaired and F-1223's pump packing and ignition switch were also repaired.

NEW BUSINESS:D.Ricci mentioned that we need to make sure that no photos etc are placed on social media regarding accidents etc by any of our members. All members of the fire co must know not to post those things. M.Corsiglia stated he had spoken with the firemen at the last meeting.
W.Corsiglia stated that he had called D'Augustino Ins to have them check into another JIF Ins co "First Responder Joint Ins Fund" to see if we can save more money instead of "Statewide JIF" which we have now. "First Responder" is just for Fire Districts,Fire Depts & EMS agencies. Wayne will call them again to see if they have any information for us.
The 2015 Audit is now back from the auditor. No changes were recommended. Resolution 08-16 (see attached) approving the annual Audit was passed by all members present voting in the affirmative, D.Ricci-yes,T.Quinlan-yes, W.Corsiglia-yes, L.Ricci-yes, R.Ruggeri-yes. W.Corsiglia will place the Synopsis of Audit in the newspaper and he will submit the Audit to the Local Finance Board.
REPORT OF COMMITTEES:R.Ruggeri stated the the Rescue squad is now paying a driver $25.00 per call during the week days, daytime only.
