Minutes of the 6th meeting of State Level Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) held on 15.10.2009 at 5:00 pm in the Conference Room of DPCC

The 6th meeting of the State Level Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) was held on 15-10-09 in the conference room of DPCC. The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Sh. Jagdish Sagar. The following members of SEIAA were present in the meeting:

2. Dr. A.K Ambasht- Member Secretary

The Chairman welcomed all members of the Authority and the members discussed the minutes of the 5th meeting of the SEIAA and the same was confirmed.

With due permission from the Chairman, cases were considered as per the placed agenda:

Case No. 09

Project Name:Construction of Security Police Lines Campus Building at Chankyapuri, New Delhi.

ProjectProponent : Office of Commissioner of Police - Delhi

The members took account of discussions and environmental conditions imposed during the consideration of the project in SEAC meeting held on 29.12.2008, 30.01.2009, 26.06.2009 and 04.09.2009. The SEIAA Committee approved and granted Environmental Clearance to the project subject to conditions imposed by SEAC, except one of the condition of setting up of a surface pond that was replaced by the installation of Rain Water Harvesting Structure within the site as per plan submitted by the project proponent.

Case No. 28

Project Name : 'Park Square'(Formally: Green Acres) Residential Complex at Manohar Lal Khurana Marg, (Gaushala Marg). Kishan Ganj,Delhi.

Project Proponent : M/S DCM Ltd.

The members took account of discussions and environmental conditions imposed during the consideration of the project in SEAC meeting held on 20.02.2009, 20.04.2009, 26.06.2009 and 04.09.2009. The SEIAA Committee approved and granted Environmental Clearance to the project subject to conditions imposed by SEAC.

Project Name : Proposed Construction of Tata Communications Internet DataCenter (IDC) Building at VSNL Complex at G.K.-1, New Delhi

Project Proponent : M/s Tata Communications ltd.

The members took account of discussions and environmental conditions imposed during the consideration of the project in SEAC meeting held on 26.06.2009 and 04.09.2009. The SEIAA Committee approved and granted Environmental Clearance to the project subject to conditions imposed by SEAC, except one of the condition of setting up of a surface pond that was replaced by the installation of Rain Water Harvesting Structure within the site as per plan submitted by the project proponent.

Project Name : Environment Clearance for Mega Housing Project “Constructionof HIG/MIG/LIG Houses” at Vasant Kunj, Delhi.

Project Proponent : M/s Delhi Development Authority

The members took account of discussions and environmental conditions imposed during the consideration of the project in SEAC meeting held on 07.08.2009 and 04.09.2009. The SEIAA Committee approved and granted Environmental Clearance to the project subject to conditions imposed by SEAC.
