The unit came for personal hearing today. It argued that it has complied with some of the directions of DPCC and had installed the ETP. The unit was heard and was clearly indicated that in view of the complaint from the RWA and protective correspondence from the unit, it’s plea for leniency cannot be accepted and it has to comply with all the directions of DPCC so far. The unit was asked for its convenience to comply but it did not respond. The Committee, therefore, decided to give time upto 30.10.2008 to comply with all DPCC directions without fail. Sr. Scientist (Air), DPCC will speak to Pr. Secretary (Health). If Department of Health, willing to finance one PM2.5 sampler then two machines will be purchased otherwise only one sampler for the purpose of DPCC be purchased.

Area, Ph-II, New Delhi. As decided in CMC on 13.08.08, the case was put up administratively and as approved notice u/s 31 (A) of the Air Act and u/s 5 of EPA were issued on 03.09.08. 4 / Complaint against Geniun Photocopier, 111- Jeeven Villa, daryaganj, Delhi. / Trading of phocopier machine / Inspection was carried out by Trainee Engineers on 02.07.08 w.r.t. a public complaint received from Sh. Narender Singhal through E-mail. During inspection, M/s Geninun Photocopier was engaged in trading and repairing of photocopy machine. Waste toner is collected in the container. Soot particle are blow away into the ambient air by blower. Unit has no DG Set. / Decision on 31.07.08: Notice may be issued to the unit to ensure that there are no air emissions and whatever the repairing of cleaning activity is there it must be done in the enclosed area. Copy of the letter may be issued to the complainant. Call on 3.09.08. / Notice under Air Act was issued on 26.08.08. no reply has been received.

New Delhi-110074. #26653337 / Farm House / Inspection was carried out by Trainee Engineer on 03-07-08 as per direction of Compitent Authority and following were observed:-
(i) The Club does not have any CTE/CTO
(ii)The Club uses 700-800l/day(in off season) and 3000l/day (in peak season) of Ground water as per the manager without having any consent from CGWA.
(iii) The Club has 3 D.G.Sets of following capacity -
(a) 35 KVA with stack ht.7-8ft and without any acoustic enclosure
(b) 82 KVA with stack ht 10ft with acoustic enclosure but still noisy
(c) 125 KVA with stack ht 11ft without any acoustic enclosure.
(iv) The Club has a septic tank which is cleaned once in a week (as per manager). The tank was found uncovered. / Decision on 13.08.08: Cases of PGRC to be put up administratively. / The file was put up admistratively and as approved, a letter was issued to the unit on 09.09.08 regarding installation of STP, reuse of the treated water, apply for Consent to Establish, submit permission from Central Ground Water Authority for using the ground water and correct all the deficiencies. It was decided that action taken report to be put up in CMC on 30.09.2008. Reply awaited. / Ask the unit to file adequacy report, noise monitoring report of D.G. Sets and CGWA clearance. 6 / M/s Sabka Bazar,(A unit of Home Stores India Pvt. Ltd.) C-3/10, Ground Floor, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058. / Retail outlets / The unit was inspected by DPCC official on 09.04.08 w.r.t. public complaint received from the residents of the area. As decided in CMC on 23.04.08, letter was issued to the unit for the correction of all the defficiences. A simmilar complaint was also received through PGC on 29.04.08. Reply sent on 26.05.08. The unit was again inspected by Trainee Engineer on 24.07.08 and as approved, the unit was called for hearing on 20.08.08/ 22.08.08 before MS. On 22.08.08 one Mr. V.K. Singh, Advocate appeared without POA. As approved the unit was called for hearing on 03.09.08 before CMC. / Decision on 03.09.08: No one came for hearing on 03.09.08 and it was decided “issue a letter to the unit to submit its comments on the complaint and the PGRC Inspection Report.
