A member of the public raised several points regarding planning application 17/00152/FUL.

Member of Public requested assistance towards cost of mowing allotment path.

The Chairman requested the Clerk write to Margaret Wright on behalf of the Council following the unexpected passing of her husband Len and her recent hospital stay.

To approve and sign the Minutes from the Parish Council Meeting held in Scalford Primary School on 8th February 2017:

It was unanimously agreed that the Minutes from the Meeting on the 8th February 2017 were a true record, and the Minutes were signed by the Chairman.

Ongoing Matters:

Churchyard Tomb – Cllr Bryan advised she intended to pass the matter to the PCC.

Response from H Rai of MBC re parking – No response received from either H Rai or Chief Executive. Clerk to try again

17/00184/DIS – Discharge of conditions 3 (materials), 4 (hard and soft landscaping scheme

and 14 (speed reduction measures) relating to application 15/01018/FUL) – 21a King Street,

Scalford, LE14 4DW. Cllr Dodd left meeting at 7.40pm whilst matter was discussed and returned at 7.47 pm – Parish Council to object.

17/00011/OUT – Proposed outline application for 9 dwellings with associated access and

The bank reconciliations for January of £ 23133.55 and for February of £21919.95 were accepted as a true record and signed by the Chairman..

Access Gradient 25 King Street, Scalford:

Cllr Dodd advised that having had measurements taken the gradient was not in accordance with the revised information from the planning officer which indicated that although not in accordance with the planning permission it was acceptable to Highways. Cllr Dod requested the new measurements with drawings be sent to the planning officer with a request for further action.

Neighbourhood Plan:

Cllr Jones provided Cllrs with a letter which would be delivered to every house and publicized on Facebook, after discussion slight amendments to the letter were agreed.

Grass Triangle Scool Lane:

The Clerk had obtained the application form for a licence, and it was agreed to apply for the 3 stones already on the triangle, a Christmas tree with battery operated lights and 3 Planters details of which to be supplied by Cllr Jones.

Cemetery:

It was agreed to hold a site meeting on Saturday 18th March at 10.00 am to discuss what improvement could be made.

Matters arising from Emails circulated and other matters:

No matters raised from emails, the matter of the planning appeal on the Pilgrims Garage site was raised as the Council did not appear to have been notified.
