2 / Minutes of last meeting / The minutes of the meeting on 27th July were agreed as an accurate record.
3 / Matters arising / These are dealt with under the appropriate section.
4 / RFU Structured Season / The structured season for 2015/16 has been issued and there have been no further changes.
5 / NLD Structured Season / The draw for the County Championship has been published. NLD will play in the Shield and will be away to Staffordshire on 30th April and home to Cumbria on 7th May with a bye on 14th May.
This is a change of dates relative to the structured season and potentially impacts on the dates for the Domestic Union cup finals.
6 / National RFU Cups / The draw for the 1stround has been made and published to the clubs. The draw for the 2nd round will be made following the conclusion of the 1st round matches.

7 / MDOC Report / There have been no changes since the last meeting.
8 / League Reports / All matches have been arranged and clubs are being flexible to work around the RWC dates. However, they need to be requesting exemption for “next available weekends” in a timely manner to MDOC if they are making other arrangements.
There have been no issues reported in the first rounds of matches.
9 / NLD Knockout Cups / NLD Knockout Competitions
Round 1 was completed satisfactorily on the agreed date.
The agreed “play-on” dates for the remaining rounds are;
QF:17th October
SF:6th February
Finals Day:23rd April (at a venue to be proposed by Nottinghamshire)
The updated regulations referring to reduction of a team’s numbers when uncontested scrums are called have been published.
10 / Domestic Cups / Nottinghamshire Knockout Competitions
No issues.
Lincolnshire Knockout Competitions
The competition is progressing according to plan.
Derbyshire Knockout Competitions
The competition is again using an “opt in” strategybut there has been limited interest in taking part. Finals day has been moved to 14th May due to the change on County Championship dates. Venue isTBA. There will be four finals.
11 / Merit Tables / Lincs merit has started, no issues to report.
There was a query as to why a home win is worth 3 points but an away win is worth 4 points.PMN: this is to encourage away sides to play and to recognise that an away victory is potentially a greater achievement than a home victory.
12 / Referees Representative / Most of the late fees have now been recovered but at least one club had to be threatened with disciplinary action before this was forthcoming.
There was a request for the Junior Competitions to be renamed as when they are input into the database they are coming out at the wrong level and so getting incorrectly appointed. A review of this is needed. / TENB
13 / Youth/Junior Competitions / It was queried whether the Junior Competitions still come under the remit of the Senior Competitions Committee. Advice from NLD is needed on this and a rep needs to attend the meetings if it is still in the remit. There was no update on this matter. / TEMW DD

An update is needed on whether Youth and Juniors remains part of the remit of this Committee.
There had been an incident where a spectator had had an altercation with a coach. As a result of this all clubs have been reminded on their responsibilities for having barriers around the pitch and also who is allowed within the barrier. / TE
