Garden Club Donation – $1,250.
About $2,500 has been deposited, mainly pool cheques. We are up to date with everyone but Vigliotti and the insurance bill. The Garden Club is donating $1,250. The invoice for the floor came in and we had a late notice for Woodland Hills School Real Estate taxes.
It was discussed whether the $500 deposit for rentals is too much. It was suggested that we accept a credit card deposit, using Square. Justin suggested a no assignment clause in the rental contract. He will review the contract. Rentals are now handled by a graduate student who receives $50 commission per new rental and $30 for existing rentals.
Regarding the Allegheny County Assessment, we need to find a commercial appraiser as soon as possible.

The Blackridge Jubilee Event was discussed. A gala event is favored, a dinner dance type of affair. Dates were discussed but no final decision made. We do not want to detract from the Garden Club’s event in March but it was noted how successful that event was and how much money was raised. It was suggested that the BCA do a similar annual event. Ceil will talk to Adrienne and Lil about organizing the Gala Event next year.
