Minutes of Annual General Meeting held on 11November2014
at the Woombye Pub
Attendees:
Alison Kruger, Julia Jones-Walker, Linda Skinner, Nicola Canty, Kylie, Debbie Kimber, James Kasmer, Kylie Ely, Shenae Brennan, Rhys Pollett
Apologies:
- The Meeting was declared open at 6.07 pm.
- James Kasmer agreed to chair the meeting.
- Motion: Approval of the minutes of the previous AGM held on 10 December 2013.
Moved: Julia. Seconded: Alison. All agreed. Motion carried.
- There was no President’s Report. The President resigned on 24 October 2014.
- Treasurer’s Report
The financial reports were tabled. The Treasurer gave a summary of the year’s events and thanked members and the Committee for their involvement. The auditor’s report and audited accounts are still with the Auditor.
Motion: that the treasurer’s report be accepted and that Ron Jackson remain in place as auditor next year. Moved: Julia. Seconded: Craig. All agreed. Motion carried.
- Election of new Committee
The committee were thanked for their service to the Association.
All committee members stood down.
Nominations were received via email from Kylie Ely (President), William Canty (Treasurer), Nicola Canty (Vice President) and Shenae Brennan (Secretary).
No further nominations were received.
President – Kylie Ely. Nominated: Alison. Seconded: Nicola.
All agreed. Appointed.
Vice President – Nicola Canty. Nominated: Linda. Seconded: Kylie.

Secretary – Shennae Brennan. Nominated: Linda. Seconded: Julia.

Treasurer – William Canty. Nominated: James. Seconded: Nicola. All agreed. Appointed.
- Any Other Business
Debbie Kimberwas nominated for the position of Grants Officer. Nominated: James. Seconded: Julia. All agreed. Appointed.
Rhys Pollettwas received as a new Member.
Reminder that all memberships are due for renewal in January 2015.
- Date of next meeting – Tuesday 10 February 2014.
Alison and Julia agreed to meet with the new committee in January to assist with any hand over queries.
