  • Hearing no objections, the telecon agenda is approved.
  • Chair asks: "Are you aware of, and understand the IEEE patent policy? If not refer the correct section or IEEE Patcom URL: ”
  • Chair asks: “..does anyone not understand the IEEE patent policy?" No reply is heard.
  • Chair asks: “Are there matters regarding essential patent claims that the WG chair should be made aware of?” No reply is heard.

  • Document Standards Board Operations Manual section 5.4.3.2 Recirculation reviewed (Paragraph from url in email)
    Comments from 2nd recirc (2001, 2002) reviewed to allow review of new comment 3002
    Prior ballot resolution status review (Accept In Principle vs Accept)
    Among those is comment 52. Changed from Accept In Principle to Accept because commenter was satified with resolution, and the changed text was recirculated in recirc-1.
    Detail of SB-OM 5.4.3.2: Noted that scope of 11y recirc-3 are
  • comments from prev round recirc (2001, 2002) or
  • direct changes to document, or text whose meaning is changed by those changes (D10 Annex I)

Discussion of revcom & excom report contents
MyBallot system is a read only system (i.e., don't post until you are done)
It is noted on the call that there were no other comments on the sentence changed by comment 52 in any 11y recirc
Further discussion of the origin of comment 52. Review of Clause 17.3.8.3.1 language. Reference to clause 5's language
Discussion of the fact that 11y has no QoS data frames.
Response to 3002 discussed (not out of scope, but reject).The why's and when's of the ballots in question are again discussed.
Three things that are needed to finish our work.

  • MyBallot response, write up motion for vote on next week's call,
    Roll call strawpoll of how to treat comment 3002 3-0-0 to reject
  • Report to ExCom
  • Report to RevCom
  • Chair asked if there was any further discussion. None heard.
  • Dick R moved to adjourn, Dan L seconded, and no one objected to the motion, so we adjourned at 13:55 ET.
