Minutes - Motion to approve the minutes by Bert Seymour and second by Chris Merritt. All approved.
Treasurer’s report - Motion to approve by Mike Boitnott and second by Sid Ryan. All approved.
Old Business:
· 2015 Calendar - Mr. BASS - March 14-15, 2015 – We doubled last year participation with 80 boats.
· February 13-14, 2015 - Anglers Choice Open House, workers (Joan, Ed, Mike & Pam, Mike and Missy Boitnott).
· February 27-28, 2015 – OCHS Expo, – Mike and Missy Boitnott, Bert and Becky (Mike & Pam went up on Saturday)
· 2015 Region Directors - Work hard and try to get word out about the new format & fish the upcoming events. We need to work on our website and have someone who can keep it updated. Our sponsors want more on the webpage.
· 2015 By-laws - Posted on website and sent to directors.
· Change big fish to day one and day two to be specific.

New Business:
· 2015 Calendar - Team Championship, April 11-12, 2015 – Entry forms mailed out & due April 1, 2015
· March 29, 2015 - JSQ# 3 at Chickahominy Riverfront Park
· April 25-26, 2015 – JSC by Invitation Only & April 25-26, 2015 – State Team Fish Off
· 2016 BASS Competition - New Slides attached.
- Regionals with 19 states competing. State paying $3000 entry fees.
- Mid Atlantic is in West VA this year and our youth will be with us.
- By January 30, 2016, we have to have our 2016 state team qualified. We will have to add another fall qualifying event or take the whole team from one event this time only.
- Discussion about how to qualify the 2016 state team.
- Motion to be eligible to fish the 2015Fall Classic qualifier each club and/or region can send as many boaters and non-boaters (equal numbers) as wanted and must be in good standing with the state and your region. This event will be Pro Am format and we will take the top10 boaters and top 10 non boaters for the 2016 state team. This motion suspersedes the bylaws for the 2015 Fall Classic only.
· Chris Merritt made a motion and Stephen Davis second. Region 1 - yes, reg. 3 - yes, region 4 yes, reg. 6 - yes, region 7 yes, Casting Kids yes, Conservation yes, and VP yes. All approved.
· We will have a dinner board meeting at the Team Championship tournament on Saturday night April 11, 2015.
· One rate club dues. Effective September 1, 2015, all clubs will pay one rate club dues of $360.
· Shirts for sale - Long-sleeve white t-shirts are $20 and new window decals for $10. All old clothing will be on sale at the Team Championship tournament.
· FACEBOOK - Send pictures to Abby Ryan to post and put a caption with the picture.
· New sponsor by Gill and Big Bait Bites. We will be a trial state with discounts even to the club members. The representative will be at the Team Championship meeting. Effective April 15, 2015. Also, Sunline state team and state clubs will get discounts. Keep track all year long and help raise money for the state from the sales. Banners and decals for the trailer.
Report from Region Directors & Casting Kids & Conservation & Tournament
· Conservation - Vote on bill H686 that was approved. A pond in Danville the person wants to raise all kinds of fish and sell bass. DGIF does not support this. Bert Seymour makes a motion to oppose this bill and second by Sid Ryan. All approved.
· E15 Federal Issue go online to support this bill. PHCC Fishing Team got the grant from Shimano for $5,000. Posting videos on fish care on Facebook. The soft bait initiative started in Maine to stop plastic worms.
· Region 1 - Starting to work with DGIF on youth day in the fall. lst event on March 28 at Lake Anna. Many more anglers wanting to join this year.
· Region 3 - Postponed our first event due to snow and ice. lst event April.
· Region 4 - lst tournament next weekend at SML. One member Rassie Wright fishing in Florida , had a kidney transplant and he is at Duke Universiry. Having an open tournament for him fishing today and have raised almost $2000 going to his family.
· Region 6 - lst event got cancelled due to snow and ice.
· Region 7 - lst tournament yesterday and Ivan Morris won with 21 lbs. and the big fish was 8.8 on Lake Gaston. They had 50 boats and weighed in at Holley Grove. Next region event on Chickahominy in April. Region 7 is holding their weigh-in in the parking lot without a trailer and banners.
· Casting Kids - Nice event at Anglers Choice Open House and OCHS Show. Some are scheduled in the near future.
· VP - Region 2 will start next week at Lake Gaston. He will tell all the clubs to send in their Team Championship entries asap.
· Lucky Lotto all sold or unsold tickets have to be to Pam by the 25th of May, 2015. Any lost tickets are sold and you owe the money.
