Invitation for Bid (28:9/03/2016)

1.Palestinian Energy Authority has received a grant from ministry of ForeignAffairs of the Czech Republic for "Applying Building Integrated Photovoltaic for Healthcare homes, Orphanages and Schools in West Bank and Gaza".

2.Palestinian Energy Authority invites sealed bids from International eligible bidders and from Local bidders who are classified by the National Classification Committee in the Electrical filed or Electromechanical field Second-Class or higher, for Applying Building Integrated Photovoltaic for Healthcare homes, Orphanages and Schools in West Bank and Gaza (PEA-TU 01/2016).

3.More information can be obtained from Projects Monitoring Unit (PMU) (Tel: 02-2986192, Fax: 02-2986191) from 9:00 am. to 14:00 pm. (local time).

4.A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders from Central Tendering Departmentat the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of USD 150 and presenting a valid classification certificate from the National Classification Committee of the local contractors. The method of payment will be by deposit in the following bank account:

5.Bids shall be valid for 90 days from the deadline bid's submission. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as follows:For LOT 1: 10,000 USD , For LOT 2: 8,000 USD

or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency for the benefit of Palestinian Energy Authority, and it shall be valid for 118 days from the deadline of the submission of the bidding documents i.e. up to 6thAugust, 2016.

6.All bidders are encouraged to a site visit and pre-Bid meeting as follows:

For LOT 1:

A- On 20th March, 2016 at 9:00 am. to Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem and then to the Four Homes of Mercy –Bethany in Al Ezariyah. The start point will be from Four Homes of Mercy –Bethany in Al Ezariyah.

B- On 21st March, 2016 at 9:00 am. to Al Ettihad Hospital and Jawaher Secondary school for girls in Nablus Governorate. The start point will be from Al Ettihad Hospital.

C- On 22nd March, 2016 at 9:00 am. to Al Mostaqbal A Ssaleh primary school for boys in Ramallah and to Om Salamah Secondary school for girls in Hebron a. The start point will be from the school in Ramallah.

For LOT 2:

On 27th March, 2016 at 9:00 am. to the Cerebral Palsy Center at Future Palestine Healthcare (Palestine Avenir for Childhood Foundation (PACF), Ahmad Shawki School and Kamal Odwan Hospital. the start point will be from Palestinian energy Authority in Gaza.

7.Bids must be submitted to the address below at or before 12:00 pm, 11thApril, 2016. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 12:00 pm, 11th April, 2016.
