BOOKSTORE COORDINATOR-FULL TIME

GRIFFIN CAMPUS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree *and* Two (2) years related work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under supervision of Bookstore Manager, operate point of sale system and provide assistance to customers.

Check and balance cash register receipts; assist with the day-to-day operation of the bookstore.

Assist with sales and promotional activities.

Assist with conducting inventory.

May calculate and post bookstore charges.

Perform general clerical duties as assigned.

Coordinates and develops bookstore initiatives to include monitoring completion of activities.

Provides support and meets regularly concerning bookstore activities, status of initiatives, and results of evaluating success of goals.

Enters and reviews data for reporting requirements and provides data to internal and external customers.

Generates reports according to established guidelines for bookstore.

Communicates regularly on progress toward bookstore goals and/or required results.

Develops, implements, and oversees the maintenance of filing, recordkeeping, distribution of materials, and other types of office/program systems.

Conducts regular evaluation of services provided and makes recommendations on future direction of project goals for bookstore.

Coordinates project related support programs as needed.

Conducts regular evaluation of services provided and makes adjustments as needed.

Keeps abreast of policies, procedures, and state or federal laws that may impact bookstore initiatives.

Maintains excellent working relationships with and serve as a liaison to internal and external customers.
