Dear Ms.Marler,

We request the Military Police Regimental Association Ozark Chapter (MPRA OC) be issued an operating permit to operate as a non-profit organization of Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

The MPRA OC is organized for the purposes and objectives set forth in the Articles III – Policy within the Bylaws attached. The MPRA OC goals include:

a. To operate, conduct and carry on a non-profit organization.

b. To promote the heritage, history, esprit de corps, image and professionalism of the United States Army Military Police Corps and enhance the efficacy of the United States Army.

c. To advance scientific, literary, educational and artistic endeavors of the United States Army Military Police Corps.

d. To solicit, request, raise, collect, and accept contributions, donations, funds, allocations, appropriations and gifts of money and property of every kind for the purpose of promoting the Military Police Regimental Association Ozark Chapter.

Membership in the MPRA OC is voluntary and may be bestowed to individual within the following criteria:

a. Members of the Military Police Corps Regiment, from any component of the US Army.

b. Retired or former members of the Military Police Corps Regiment, from any component of the US Army.

c. Civilian personnel employed in support of the Military Police Corps Regiment, from any component of the US Army.

d. Military or civilian members of the United States Air Force, United States Navy, United States Marine Corps or United States Coast Guard, of any component, assigned to, or engaged in, law enforcement, security, or Military Police related functions.

e. The Military Police Corps Regimental Chaplain.

f. Personnel from any nation allied to the United States who are engaged in, or performing, law enforcement, security or Military Police related functions.

g. Any member of the Armed Forces of the United States that wishes to join that is not engaged in law enforcement, security or Military Police related functions.

h. Members of any non-Department of Defense agency or organization.

Monies for the MPRA OC are generated through the collection of annual membership dues, contributions and donations. Funds generated will be used for the following purposes (not inclusive):

a. To promote the heritage, history, esprit de corps, image and professionalism of the United States Army Military Police Corps and enhance the efficacy of the United States Army.

b. To Advance scientific, literary, educational, and artistic endeavors of the United States Army Military Police Corps.

c. Operational activities for the direct benefit of MPRA OC members.

d. Membership drive.

e. Charitable activities as approved by the Executive Committee.

Organizational meetings are held quarterly at a time and place announced by the President. A financial audit is held bi-annually with the results being reported directly to the Executive Committee.
