Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart:

Anam Cara: The national organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Wednesday 10th of May from 19:30 to 21:30 in the Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. This is a free event open to all bereaved parents. As Anam Cara will need to confirm numbers for event, please RSVP to before Tuesday 9th May or call 01 4045378.

Navan Accord: Centre is seeking to recruit both counsellors for couples experiencing difficulties in their relationship, and facilitators for pre-marriage courses, to begin training in September 2017. If you feel that you have something to offer to couples in need of marriage counselling or to young people who are preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage and you are willing to give up some voluntary time to train in this area then we would be delighted to hear from you. Royal County 5km & 10km: In Kells on Monday 1st May at 10:30am. Registration on the day from 9am in Headfort Arms Hotel. €20 for 10km, €15 for 5km. T-shirt and refreshments included in price. All ages and abilities are welcome!

Meath Alzheimer Cafe: Wednesday, 3rd May, from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m. in The Pastoral Centre, Dunshaughlin. All families/carers and loved ones living with Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia are welcome to attend. Guest speaker is Kathy Maher, Pharmacist, who will give a talk on ‘Medicines for the Older Person including Dementia Treatment’. Music, tea/coffee and scones. Admission is free.
