  2. Students will be attentive, cooperative, and positive.
  3. Students will stand or sit comfortably, with good singing posture.
  4. Students will be willing to try, and sing to the best of their ability.

Schedule

Chorus will now be year round! (and should be!) Thanks to Mrs. Elliott’s commitment to the arts, all students will participate in chorus in both the fall and spring. If you have chorus as a class during the first semester, you will meet for chorus during RAMS on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the second semester. Students that have chorus as a class during the second semester will meet at RAMS the first semester. When we get closer to concert times, we will bring groups together. Please note that RAMS time is a privilege and any students at risk of failing any class will need to bring their grade up before attending RAMS chorus rehearsals.

Concerts

All students must be in attendance at all concerts. If a child is sick, please provide a note/e-mail from a parent. If a student misses a concert for any reason, other than illness, their grade will be lowered one letter grade. There will be a winter and spring concert. Stay tuned for other performances including Honor Chorus and other exciting opportunities.

Grading

50% - performance, 25% - music theory, musicianship quizzes, 25% - rehearsal skills, evaluation
