Times:

10:30 am-11:30 am – Sign-ins

11:30 am – Mandatory Handler’s Meeting

6 Races: There is a total of 6 races in this series; when calculating points for the end of the series there will be 1 throw out. You must race at each track to qualify for end of the year awards.

Race 4 races: 4 races qualify you for the end of series awards. You must race at least one race at each track.

No qualifying: A pill draw (done at sign-ins) will be used to determine heat race line-ups. Based on transferring to lower mains with no less than 4 transfer cars for Senior classes and no less than 2 cars for Junior classes.

Warm-Ups: 2-minute warm up prior to heat races

1-minute warm-up prior to lower and A main races

Race Order: Jr. Animal, Sr. Animal, UNR Animal, Red Rookie, Blue Rookie, Lt. W/F, HVY W/F, Jr. Honda, Sr. Honda, Hvy Honda, Lt. 160, HVY 160

# of Cars: In the event there are more than 8 cars signed in for any class, heats will be split. In the event of split heats lower main and feature line ups will be detemined by USAC’s passing points system. If heats are NOT split – feature line ups will be straight up from finishing position in the heat race.

Time Limits: Will be determined based on car count and/or weather. If time expires while the green flag is displayed, the race will continue until a checkered flag or red flag is thrown. The race finish will be the last completed lap with adjustments for strikes. If time expires during a yellow flag the race is over. The checkered flag will be displayed. The race finish will be the last completed lap with adjustments for strikes and pitting.

Laps: Rookie – Heats/10, Features/15

Jr. Classes – Heats & Lower mains/15, Features/25

Sr. Classes – Heats & Lower Mains/20, Features/30

Courtesy Lap: 3 Courtesy Laps will be given to any car in the hotshot during a caution once line up is good on the track AND the car is stopped in the pits.

Racing Info: Race format will follow USAC rules/guidelines

NY1 Spec tire is required for this series (right side only)

Feature Line-ups are straight up, determined by heat finishing position

Points Info: 5 Sign-in points will be awarded per class per event

DQ (Tech) ZERO points for that event – May not be used as drop

DQ (Flagrant Rough Driving) – ZERO points awarded for that race

DNF – Points are awarded according to drop out/race finish

DQ (Strikes, Safety, Mechanical, Dropped Part (i.e. muffler) – Points are awarded according to drop out/race finish

DNA – ZERO points awarded. DNA is recorded when no attempt is made by the driver to race

Awards: All classes, except Rookie will receive a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place awards in the A Main. End of the season award will be trophies. Tiebreakers for end of season awards will be determined by the following… The tie breaker for a class/division will be based on the number of A Main wins. If there is still a tie after that it will be based on the number of 2nd place finishes and subsequent finishes until there is no tie.

Rookie Awards: All rookie classes are a learning class and are not recognized as a racing class. All rookies will receive Participation Awards. Rookies will receive end of season participation awards as well. If this is your first time ever on track, please notify our sign-in crew so that a First Time on Track award can be presented with your participation award.
