Michele Boulanger Inspiration Scholarship
Michele Boulanger was the Dover High School music director from 1983 until her retirement in 2014. Prior to DHS, for 7 years, Michele taught music at the elementary & Jr high levels in the Rochester School system, and coached Color guard at Spaulding.Michele earned her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of New Hampshire. For nearly 40 years Mrs. Boulanger, or Ms. B as she came to be known, taught, directed and inspired thousands of high school students to be the best musicians they could be. Currently she directs the Dover Community Band.
The DPMC would like to honor Ms. B’s dedication to music education by awarding this $1,000 scholarship to a Dover High School student who is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Degree. If you have applied to a four year college or university andhave been accepted as a MUSIC MAJOR you are eligible for this scholarship.
