Vice President

This may be one of the busiest officers in the Chapter. Not just does the Vice President assist the President but the VP may fill the role if the President is unable to attend a meeting or is not able to assist in something at that time. They take control of reminding the HOSA Chapter Members of upcoming meeting & service opportunities (by Remind 101) and also are accessible to the member by the HOSA email and also the Website. The VP will also collect hour sheets after general meetings to put into the HOSA website so the Secretary can update the hours.

Secretary

Keep track of upcoming meetings and officer meetings, and contribute to the officer meetings. Also keep accurate recordings of the notes taken at officer meeting and general meetings as well as keeping up with the agendas for every meeting. These documents should be stored in the HOSA reporter binder and be in order, so if asked by a HOSA member what was touched on last meeting you can quickly show them the agenda and any notes or unfinished business that will need to be discussed for next meeting or service opportunities available. The Chapter Website is also controlled by the Secretary (along side the Vice President) by updating hours, photos, service opportunities, and HOSA competitions.

Treasurer

Treasurer takes on the tasks of being accurate, prompt, and resourceful by keeping track of all the financial records of the Chapter. To be successful in this position one must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, be organized in all papers dealing with money, and keep track of all deposits, withdrawals and monthly financial statements. At officer meeting and general you must be able to update the chapter on the clubs financial standpoint so members and officers will know what fundraisers and activities need to be done and what the chapter is capable in doing. Lastly the Treasurer works with the Secretary in keeping track of membership roll.

Historian

The Historians duties include keeping up with members and contact information, and agendas of all the meetings (Secretary will do this also). They may also create survey and schedule guest speakers for the club to have for general meetings. Also the Historian will take photographs to give to the secretary to add to the HOSA chapter website and create flyers needed for any upcoming events.
