Call to Order - @ 8:07 PM by A. Summers

Treasurer’s Report – J. Pole presented a report. Motion by T. Bedford to accept report as presented.

OLD BUSINESS
All committees finalized and will be posted by C. Dill
Flag Football MS Contracts - In the future, written contracts will be sent to all middle schools by T. Coste
Travel Fee Study – By February 2018, D. Stewart will submit a travel fee study to the board for consideration
Evaluations - You do not have to be a MFOA member to be an evaluator. Anyone wishing to be considered as an evaluator will submit a request to M. Reece, Chair for the Evaluation Committee
Online Registrations – FHSAA is still experiencing some technical problems but every effort is being made to correct those situations
NEW BUSINESS
MFOA INSURANCE – Due January 1st, 2018. Needed data will be supplied to Mike Reece to complete the application for renewal.
MFOA Hall of Fame Requirements submitted by T. Lee. Any changes or additions, contact T. Lee
Request by Ray Hill to conduct alternative meetings in Lake City was presented to the board. No motion was made. Ray Hill was advised to discuss situation with Freddie Lucas, North Basketball Director, for a resolution
Discussion on a new meeting location for the 2018-2019. No decision at this time.
Football News – Playoff crews selected and have been posted on website
Flag Football News – R. Sergent has already contacted FHSAA Flag Football Director regarding conducting a state clinic in our area. FHSAA Training Date January 26, 2018
Basketball News – New clinic schedule posted on the website.
Baseball News –All day clinic has been changed to February 3rdl
Softball News – No report
Web Master – Changes to Basketball Clinic Schedule posted. Baseball and Softball also posted
Inspector - Nochanges to previous status
Banquet – Freddie Lucas has volunteered to run the banquet this year with a location in Lake City. More info to follow

NOTE: Next Executive Board Meeting will be held at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Multipurpose Building, 3298 NW 10th St., Ocala beginning at 4PM on Sunday, November 12th.
