Metropolitan State University

Engaged Campus Audit

General University Questionnaire

Metropolitan State University describes itself as a place “where life and learning meet.” We are asking for your help to document where these meetings take place: where the university connects with the community and life. The University is attempting to define and describe the various partnerships that engage community members and organizations, whether the connections are personal, professional, for student life, or for academic courses and programs.

For clarity and consistency in questions referring to community-based learning,

please refer to the following definition:

Community Based Learning: is a method of teaching or learning that combines meaningful community or public service with academic instruction.

The results of this effort will have important implications for the University. We will be able to specifically describe our University/community partnerships. Please respond as completely as possible.

Thank you.
