Your child will have a planner that he/she MUST keep up with. You will find the I Can statements for each subject as well as test grades and notes from your child’s teachers!!

We are working on place value and rounding to the nearest 10 and 100 place.
We are continueing to multiply by 2’s.
We are also ordering numbers and looking at number patterns.

Each new school year brings opportunities for academic growth and growth in all areas of development. Although children must be knowledgeable when they graduate, they must also be healthy, engaged, responsible, and caring people. The Leader in Me provides your school with the vision and language to lead the school in a way that addresses all areas of development. This week we will be reviewing rules/laws, rights/responsibilities, the 3 types of communities, and citizenship.
We will be completing a Study Guide in class on Tuesday. The Study Guide, as well as some other classroom work will come home Tuesday night. Please have your child study these and then sign the Study Guide for 5 extra points on the test!! The Communities and Citizenship test will be Wednesday, Aug.27.
Homework this week is a choice between 2 projects. Extra points will be rewarded if you choose to complete both!!This was sent home today and is due Friday!!
