ACTIVITIES Participated in the 9th International Symposium on advanced Materials (ISAM-2005) organized by Dr. A.Q Khan Research Labs Islamabad, Pakistan and presented research paper entitled “Modern NDT techniques applied to composite parts”. Received Commendation certificate from top management.

Developed curriculum for departmental promotion examination (DPE) in the filed of metallurgy & material science and complied a book entitled “Metallurgy” which is being taught as Text Book for Diploma in Associate Engineer (DAE) students. Received Commendation certificate for this work.

WORK EXPERIENCE Total Work Experience: > 12 Years

Ø  Worked as Manager (Metallurgy) in Air Weapons Complex (AWC) Wah Cantt, Pakistan in Quality Assurance Deptt from May 2005 to September 2012. Independently managed Material Testing Lab, as Officer Incharge, having following facilities / instruments:

Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDX), Rockwell, Vickers & Shore Hardness Testers, Universal Testing Machine, Ultrasonic Flaw Detector, Magnetic Particle Tester, X-Ray Radiographic testing machine, Metallographic sample preparation and macro / micro examination with stereo zoom and metallurgical microscope respectively.

Involved in failure investigation of Air Craft components & failure report writing.

Responsible for implementation of ISO-9001:2008, AS-9100 Rev C & ISO-17025 Quality, Aerospace & International Laboratory Standard for the competence in testing respectively. (As applicable to material testing lab)

Ø  Worked as Assistant Manager (Metallurgy) in Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POFs) Wah Cantt, Pakistan in Metallurgical Laboratory for four years and responsible for technical and administrative control of

Spectrometric Lab, Metallographic Lab, Mechanical Testing Lab, NDT Lab, Heat Treatment Lab, Analytical & Physical Labs.
