Position Purpose: / This position is responsible for providing an end-to-end service coordinating and rostering of the Aged Care Casual Bank system. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting facilities at maintaining best practice in rostering. Travel will be required as part of this position to establish a presence across the facilities.

·  Administration of the rostering system to ensure the most effective use of resources. / ·  Coordinating the roster for casual staff and management of the casual bank workforce at Mercy Place Parkville and Mercy Place East Melbourne using the rostering program in conjunction with other administrators.
·  Act as the central point of contact for Mercy Place East Melbourne and Mercy Place Parkville’s casual employees, supervisors and Service Managers for all enquiries, escalating issues to HR when required.
·  Delivery of a consistent and high quality of care and service.
·  Ensuring suitable match of casual employee to shift need is given.
·  Accurately record and maintain all relevant information on all databases.
·  Using computer and software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and rostering/scheduling software. / ·  Provide an end-to-end rostering service for all casual employees at Mercy Place Parkville and Mercy Place East Melbourne.
·  A reduced number of queries over casual employees’ rosters and phone calls.
·  Employee feedback.
·  Ensuring all paperwork associated with new casual employee set up is done in a timely manner for Mercy Place East Melbourne and Mercy Place Parkville.
·  Demonstrate a clear understanding of their role and the organisations operating policies and procedures, including rostering inline within the guidelines of industrial instruments.
·  PayGlobal validation for casual employees is completed within daily timeframes
·  A reduction in agency usage
·  Oversee the roll out of the casual bank system to other aged care facilities within Mercy Health Aged Care / ·  Project coordinate the roll out of the casual bank system to other aged care facilities within Mercy Health Aged Care
·  Administer appropriate training needs and opportunities for casual employees, supervisors and facility managers.
·  Act as an ongoing support person for site based rostering coordinators to ensure ongoing best practice rostering and casual employee utlisation
·  Accurate and timely documentation any issues or concerns with appropriate manager or HR. / ·  Demonstrating a clear understanding of their role with respect to supporting other aged care facilities in best practice casual bank utlisation.

·  Develop and maintain key reporting and analytic data on casual workforce utlisation and agency spend / ·  Produce monthly agency spend reports for senior management
·  Review workforce analytics for trends and make recommendations on future trends to reduce agency spend
·  Produce quarterly workforce engagement reports / ·  A close working relationship with Human Resources ensures recruitment activities meets operational need peaks.
·  A reduction in agency spend from a clearer understanding of workforce needs
