Do at least one of the following assignments. It is worth 50 points. You may do one additional assignment for 25 points extra credit. You may only do one of each type of assignment.
1. Interview a veteran of World War II. Ask what branch of the service they served in; where they served; some memories of the war. At least one typed page long.
2. Create a power point presentation or poster on one of the following issues during WWII:
442 Infantry
Code Talkers
Operation Fortitude
Monuments Men
Japanese Balloon Bombs
Nazi Med. Experiments
3. Review a movie about WWII, include a plot summary and determine if the facts in the movie were accurate (Unbroken, Monuments Men,
4. Create a timeline of WWII, include major battles and events (annotated, with pictures).
5. Your choice – create a project of your choice. Must be approved by Mrs. Hancey.
