  • Settings

1.  New features:

·  New option was added (This Loan Type Depends on Salary Scale Set Up) to loan rules screen in financial setup to make the loan transaction depends on the set up existing in the salary scale loan setup.

·  New field was added (Sender Description) for each module setup in SMTP setup page to determine the sender description per module.

·  New items were added (employee first name/ English, employee second name/ English, employee third name/ English, employee family name/ English, employee first name/ Arabic, employee second name/ Arabic, employee third name/ Arabic, employee family name/ Arabic, and Gotham rnd font name) to details screen in the badges setup page.

·  Added a new option ‘Access to Executive Employees’ in the ‘Managers Permission’ page to allow the Managers to make the same transactions on the executive employees.

·  Added a new item ‘View Attached Document’ in the ‘Workflow Screening’ page to view the attached documents for the remotely requested vacations.

·  Now any file attached to a workflow by the managers can be viewed in the ‘Workflow Screening’ page.

·  Added a new field ‘Training Officer’ for each site to override the branch-level training officer.

·  Added a new option called ‘Termination Options’ in system parameters to allow/alert/never allow When Terminating an Employee in Appraisal Committee.

  • Employees

1.  New features:

·  New option was added (Until Now) in the Education page i to be displayed next to the ‘End Date’ field.


2. Enhancement:

·  Now the executive employees can be set as direct managers by only writing their employee code for users whom don’t have access to executive employees.

·  Added a new popup next to the options (Notify HR Officer x Days Before Residence Is Expired, Notify HR Officer x Days Before Fellow Residence is Expired, Notify The HR Officer x Days Before the Exit/Entry Expired) in the ‘Notifications Page’ to allow these notification e-mails to be sent to a selected committee along with the HR Officer on a company level.

  • Workforce Management

1.  New features:

·  New option was added (Lower Limit for Leave Hours per Day) in Leave Rules to prevent any leave transaction that is less than the leave lower limit.

·  New option was added (other) for the following fields in the, job application and personnel information pages :

o  Education → School

o  Education → Faculty

o  Education → Major

o  Education → Qualification

o  Skills → Skill Type

o  Personal Contacts → Contacts Types

o  References → Relationships

o  Certificates → Certificate Type

o  Certificates → Certificate Name

o  Certificates → Certificate Rate

o  Certificates → Certificate Category

·  New validation was added upon posting the change transactions to prevent the user from posting them if the transaction date is in a future date also affect on (MSS-change transaction, ESS-change financial data- bank) .

·  New validation was added upon saving the change transaction to prevent the user from saving them if the transaction date is in previous date and the salaries are posted also affect on (MSS-change transaction, ESS-change financial data- bank) .

·  New fields were added (project, payment method , bank, account number, bank branch, IBAN number, bank commitment )to hiring procedure details page to fill the bank information and Project for the newly employed applicants.

·  New option was added (Until Now) to Education page in job application to be displayed in the ‘End Date’ field.

·  New option was added (Do Not Allow to Modify Job Descriptions in MenaME Job Requisitions) to Recruitment setup page to make the job descriptions read only in MenaME Job Requisition Screen.

·  Specific permissions were added (Add Vacancy to Website, Send to Bayt.com, Send to Akhtaboot, Send to Mihnati, Copy Vacancy's Link) to security setup for job requisition page to control what each user is permitted to publish.

·  New page was added (Online Application Security) to online application setup to improve the password security of the online applicants.

·  Added the hierarchy filter to the ‘Time Sheet Reports’ page.

·  Added a new options ‘Sick Vacation Reasons’ to the ‘Sick Vacation Code’ in the ‘Leave Management Setup’ page to add a predefined set of sick vacation reasons to be chosen from the ESS and MSS

·  Added the multi-select “Prevent This Leave in” in the Leave Rules, to prevent the employees to take leave request in specific day.

·  Added a new filter ‘City’ in the ‘Choose Applicants’ popup in the ‘Job Applications’ page.

·  A new option was added ‘Notify Employee Upon Posting Leave Adjustment Transactions’ in the Leave Management ‘Setup’ page to notify the employee that a day has been subtracted from his/her vacation balance if a leave has been rounded and has deducted a day or more.

·  Added a new screen ‘Remote Transactions Screening’ to view the transactions that occurred from the ‘Remote Transactions Entry’ page from MSS.

·  A new item was added ‘Attached File’ in the ‘Hiring Procedure’ page to attach hiring documents.

·  Added a new field ‘Vacation Transaction Affects Balance Up Until __ Days’ in the ‘vacation rules’ popup to check the balance for the whole period of the unpaid since the employee gain a balance within these days.

·  Added a new option ‘Include CV as attachment in Email’ in the ‘Notify Interview Committee’ editor located in the ‘Notifications Templates Setup’ page to include the CV in the form of an attachment in the sent e-mails to the interview committee.

·  Added a new item ‘Attachments’ in the ‘Checklists Hiring’ page to view the attachments related to the checklist.

·  Added a new option ‘Disable’ to the checklist items to hide the items in the checklist cycle.

·  Added a new cycle ‘Pre Hiring Checklist’ in the ‘Hiring Procedure Details’ page where the applicant is required to fill out a checklist – possibly with attachments’ before the beginning of the hiring procedure.

2.  Enhancement:

  • Talent Management

1.  New features:

·  New filter was added (Evaluation form) to the reports (Mid-Year review report, Mass appraisal result report, Employee MBO report and Detailed appraisal report)

·  New report was added (MBO`s Report) to appraisal module to retrieve MBO’s details in job description.

·  New option was added (After --- Day of Receiving the Appraisal, Notify Employee ---Times) to the appraisal setup page for “self-appraisal is mandatory” option to send an automated email to the employees who haven’t filled their appraisal after a few days.

·  New text field was added (Reason) to modify appraisal popup in appraisal screening to add the reason of the modification and the reason will appear for appraisal committee in MenaME

·  Sending notification email for the (MBO`s Reviewer) when the date comes for the Mid-Year Review cycle, in order to remind him/her to go and start the cycle in that date.

·  Added a new field ‘Bank Account Number’ on the approval and in the approval notification e-mail for business trips.

·  Added a new radio button ‘Non Payroll Transaction’ to the ‘Merits Setup’ page and performance appraisal screen to grant the merits as a non-payroll transaction.

  • Extra Modules

1.  New features:

·  Added the items ‘Contract End Date, Mobile Number, P.O. Box, Zip (Postal) Code, Housing Accruals – Amount, Housing Accruals – Calculation Method, Housing Accruals – Housing Repetition, Step, Shift Code, Social Security Type, Employee Age’ in the ‘Merge Letter Templates’ page.

·  Three new filters were added; Contract Type, Nationality and Citizen in the ‘Merge Letters Report’ page.

·  Added a new popup ‘Children Marital Status Constraints’ in the ‘Air Tickets Setup’ page to set constraints based on Marital Status of the children.

2. Enhancement:

·  Now the employee can change his/her destination per ticket.

  • Reports

1. New Features:

·  New column was added (Effective Date) to the work flow report to show the effective date of the transactions.

·  New filter was added (Relevance) to previous experience report showing the employee experience with relevance.

·  New filter was added (Transaction Entry User) to the employee transactions report to retrieve the transactions related to the selected user.

·  New sort option was added (Transaction Entry User Name) to employee transactions report to be sorted by the user name.

2.  Enhancement:

·  New button was added (Export) beside the save button in most reports to export the reports as an Excel sheet.

  • MenaME

1.  New features:

·  Hidden old setup items from the interview Forms and Appraisal Setup Pages.

·  A new filter was added ‘Transactions’ in the ‘Time Sheet Approval’ page to display the transactions which had – or didn’t have – a financial impact and the transactions which did not get updated.

·  Added a new item ‘View Attached Document’ in the ‘Workflow Cycle’ page in MSS to view the attached documents for the remotely requested vacations.

·  Added a new item ‘View Hiring Procedure Document’ in the Workflow Cycle page to view the attached file from the ‘Hiring Procedure’ page.

·  Added a new item ‘Attachment’ in the ‘Workflow Cycle’ page for any workflow committee member to attach a file to any request sent to them and any member of the committee can view the attachments.

·  Added a new item ‘Survey Name’ in the ‘Evaluation Results’ page in the ‘ESS’ to view the survey name without actually having to view the report result to know the name of the survey.

·  Added a new item ‘Attachments’ in the ‘Checklists – Filling’ page to attach files to the checklist procedure.

·  Added two new date pickers ‘From Date’ and ‘To Date’ for the ‘Appraisal Period’ field to view the current and previous MBO’s for the employees in the ‘Employee Objectives’ page in the ‘ESS’.

·  A new page was added ‘Employee Objectives’ in the ‘MSS’ so that the ‘Objectives Filled By’ member can view the MBO’s for his/her subordinates.

2.  Enhancement:

·  New order for the committee in the workflow cycle when changing the direct manager from the change location request and the option ‘Include the Direct Manager in Cycle’ was enabled in the ‘Workflow Template Setup’, the WF will be sent to the old direct managers then the new direct managers.

·  Now the managers that have permissions on their subordinates can view the executive employees with early outs in the ‘Early Outs’ tab in the ‘Analyze Employees Attendance’ page in ‘MSS’.

  • MenaTA

1.  New Features:

·  New option was added (Off day Symbol in Roster) to the work shift setup page to accept numbers and letters or combination of both to consider it as Day off.

·  New option was added (Exclude the shift from Convert Remaining Vacation Hours to Vacation Adjustment When Vacation Hours Are More Than Required Working Hours) to work shift setup to Convert Remaining Vacation Hours To Vacation Adjustment When Vacation Hours Are More Than Required Working Hours.

·  Added a new report ‘Monthly Time Sheet’ report to view the attendance of the employees in a period of a month or less in the form of prefixes.

  • Online Application

·  New option was added (other) for the following fields:

o  Education → School, Faculty, Major and Qualification

o  Skills → Skill Type

o  Personal Contacts → Contacts Types

o  References → Relationships

o  Certificates → Certificate Type , Certificate Name, Certificate Rate and Certificate Category

·  New option was added (Until Now) to the Education page to be displayed beside the’ To Date’ field.

  • Gulf Region :

·  New page was added (Job Title in Residence) to personnel setup page in order for the user to set pre-defined values and uses them in employee’s residence page.

  • Kuwait Country profile

·  Now the Execution and renewal dates should be viewed instead of the hiring date in the job contract form.

·  Annual leave section now takes the new balance not the current balance for the employee from the employee’s new balance in Vacation Balances.

·  Now the ‘Job Contract Form’ located in the ‘Job Contract’ page is updated to the latest design along with the ability to print out the form in both English and Arabic with limited and unlimited contracts.
