On Monday, May 29, 2017, Newcomb-Long Post 928 of the American Legion and the Evans Township Post 5798 Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold their annual MEMORIAL DAY PARADE and SERVICE in the Village of Angola. Line up for the parade will be at the Angola Fire Hall grounds at 41 Commercial Street at 9:30 AM. The Parade will start at 10:00 AM. We will march to the Forest Avenue Cemetery for special services and then back to the Angola Fire Hall grounds at 41 Commercial Street.

(Rain location will be the Angola Fire Hall at 41 Commercial Street)

We invite Gold Star Mothers, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Firefighters, Police, all organizations, Public Officials and all Veterans from all wars to join us for this important parade and service. We also encourage decorated bikes, floats, etc.

REMEMBER…

MEMORIAL DAY is the special day on which we remember our departed loved ones. It is the day for expressing tributes to our HONORED DEAD – THE MORE THAN ONE MILLION MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES IN BATTLE since the American Revolutionary War,

Defending the freedoms which we all enjoy today.
