•DiscussionoftheGARTCOrdinance: GARTCandstaffspokeaboutthepowers thecommitteehaveand/ordoesnothave. TysonHummell fromCityLegalrecommendedthatGARTCfollowtheordinanceexplicitlytothewordingoftheactualordinance. TheCity'sordinanceforallboardsandcommissionshasotherinformationthattheGARTCordinanceitselfdoesnothave,suchasthateach board,committee,orcommissionshallwriteupanannualreportandreportittotheMayorandCityCouncil. IanvolunteeredtowriteGARTC's2013annualreportand circulateit totheCommittee.

•BikewaysandTrailFacilityPlanUpdate: CarrieBarkhurst-CarriediscussedtheideaofusingtheMRCOG'sProjectPrioritizationProcess(PPP)asthestartingpointtoranktheHighPriorityProjects. CarriewillforwardJamestheweblinkswithexamplesofsomeprojectsrankedinthisparticularway. JameswillforwardthistoGARTCmembers'priortoJanuary'smeeting. CarriewilldiscussattheJanuarymeeting.

DwightHarris-DwightspokeaboutanaccidenthewasinvolvedinregardingabicyclisthittinghimwhilewalkingonthePaseodelBosqueTrailjustsouthofPaseodelNorte.Hesustainedmajorinjuriesfromtheaccidentandwashospitalizedfordays.Hecametodiscusstheneedforsafetyreportsandothermechanismssuchasacentralizedreporting systemfortrailtoeducateeveryoneincludingpoliticiansandotherofficialsaboutcreatingsome.Somesortofdatacollectionisneeded.
