Call to order 8:12 a.m.

Approval of Minutes: June minutes were approved.
Financial Report:
Financial reports for April, May, and June – computer equipment and software purchases need to be deducted from computer funds – approval tabled until next meeting.
Dee will check with Shane to see if she can get the e-file of his pie chart for 2015 financials, then Brittni will post on website.
Suggestion was made to start doing quarterly pie charts.
Fundraising Update:
Need to start working on calendar. Brittni will see if volunteer photographer can go with her on rounds in August. Possibly create our own calendar; Cassandra will work on this.
Upcoming Events:
Skagit County Fair, Aug. 10-13. Need additional volunteers, but only need 1-2 people per shift – Patty will contact volunteers. We get two 4-day gate passes and two 4-day parking passes. Approved purchase of additional gate passes for volunteers – advance tickets are $5 per day. Will have free coloring books and pages to hand out, plus two raffle drawings: one for a pack of three coloring books for children, and one for a pack of three coloring books for adults.
Country Days, Mount Vernon Country Store, Aug. 19-21. We will have a table and two horses there from 9:30 to 5:30 on Friday and Saturday; Sunday TBD (possibly 10-2, but may not be there at all). Patty will contact volunteers for additional coverage; no more than 2 people needed per shift.
Pet-a-Palooza, Mount Vernon Country Store, Oct. 21-23. We will plan to be there.
Other possible events we are exploring: Bony Pony fall tack sale in October and photos with Santa in early December (at Bony Pony).

Foster Health Update:
All horses have been vaccinated and de-wormed.
All horses have had dentals, except HotShot.
Laura will evaluate HotShot in September or October.
Foster Training & Coordination Update:
Mia is staying at Cassandra’s for now.
Marah is continuing to work with Jazz for the month of July. Emily will contact Marah re: training logs.
Emily will confirm with Meghanher availability for training in August, September or October; send Jazz to Meghan for further evaluation?
Brittni will check with Laura S. to confirm her availability/willingness to take Willow in August or September.
Brittni will post need for more foster homes on FB again.
Media Update:
Misc. Items:
Fundraiser Coordinator position: Brittni will post position on FB again, with a deadline to submit applications by July 31.
Laura will talk to Deirdre Dong again.
Patty will talk to Debra McCurdy.
Hay storage was discussed. Brad’s barn is still available, but we would need to organize a work party to clean out barn and make repairs (hole in roof).
On waiting list for hay from Clear Lake.
Emily looking into whether any storage unit companies would be willing to donate a unit or give us a discounted rate.
Selling tack leftover from tack sale was also discussed. We need a volunteer to create ads for saddles.
Brittni will make periodic posts for tack donations.
