Background:
Paul Clayton was named president of Meineke Car Care Centers, LLC, on October 15, 2012. As president, he is responsible for franchise development, business growth, business operations and franchise relations for more than 900 Meineke Car Care Center locations. His personal mission is to work with all franchisees and the management team to make Meineke “the best automotive aftermarket brand and business in the world.”
Previous Experience
Paul brings over 30 years of highly successful franchising experience to Meineke, most notably having spent eight years as CEO of Jamba Juice and building the company into a nationally recognized brand. Prior to Jampa Juice, he spent 16 years at the Burger King Corporation serving in a variety of executive leadership roles including president of North America, senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing (CMO). Paul began his career working as a McDonald’s restaurant manager in Germany where he learned to appreciate the nature of front line work and the value of focus and day-to-day execution. He earned his bachelor’s from Boston University and holds a master’s of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He and his wife have three children and reside in Hillsborough, N.C.
