Athletic Directors Report: Clark Udell opened by explaining the general frustration that rain has been both inhibiting practice and play by most of our spring sports teams. Next he announced that the summer camps put on by the athletic department are currently in the planning stages. Clark was excited to introduce a new strength and conditioning summer camp! This camp would consist of a 6 week program (3wks, break, 3wks) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 am-9:30 am. The class will be staffed by the school trainer and various coaches. It will emphasize core, speed and strength. The cost is $50. More information will be forthcoming.

Treasurers Report: Sue Zadel informed us that at the present time her role as treasurer is occupied by the normal pay schedule activities of depositing concession monies and paying invoices related to concessions. She reported estimates of balances in our accounts. $24,000. In our money market account and $32,000 in our operating account.

Lacrosse: Dianna O’Donnell presented the exciting events for Saturday’s LAX –VS-Cancer Day. The lacrosse team is excited that this is a home event this year. The option of a $5 wristband that admits one into all events was described. Some events include a 2:30 JV game, a 5:00 GVSU –vs- University of Dayton game, and a 7:30 Varsity game that wraps up the days events. All proceeds go to the Van Andel Institute as part of the Purple Campaign.

Girls Lacrosse: Larry Francis reported that the first games were cancelled due to weather. The girls beat Northview 18-5, Lost to EGR 12-5 , lost to Rockford 15-7. He stated that he believed the indoor practices seem to have had an adverse effect and once the girls can practice outdoors their play will improve.

Ski: Kevin Hausch stated that the team had a great season! 4 Team members received All Conference honors and 1 received All State honors.
