MEETING SITE CHANGE------>(At St. Michael's Church)<------

Grand Knight's Message:

Dear Brother Knights,

November is here. As the final leaves fall from the trees and we look ahead to the upcoming holiday season, please remember to give thanks to our Lord and Savior for the many blessings we have in our lives. Keep in mind, be thankful, and pray for all those who serve in our military this coming Veterans Day. Also do not forget those in need, and as always, pray the Rosary as often as possible. Remember that it is through our charity that we may be of assistance to those in need. "Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." – Psalm 106:1

As always, your ideas, thoughts and suggestions are always welcome. May God continue to bless you all and may you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

Fraternally yours,

John Laviolette, GK

RECENT EVENTS:

The Council in cooperation with the Family Life Committee held a Trivia Night on October 5. There were 7 teams comprised of about 60 participants. It was a fun night for everyone involved. Thanks to all our brothers who came out to help. We were able to hold another successful Tootsie Roll drive this year raising $1600. A big,chocolaty, chewy thank you to all our volunteers and especially our chairmen Stan Bandoski and Tony Quagliato.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Our next big event is the Breakfast with Santa on December 8th. When we first started the event we had no idea how big it would become. With the help of Family Life, this event has become a staple for the parish and community. We served almost 400 breakfasts last year. Again, I put the call out for volunteers. Setup will be on Saturday morning Dec 7th around 9 AM, and prep on Sunday at 8:00 AM. The breakfast runs until noon. If you haven't been to this event, make plans to attend, you won't be disappointed.
