Please send Greg an email and let him know if you are coming or not remembering this is our club’s Muster.

General Business

We discussed having an Online Book Club and meeting once a month on Go To Meeting. Everyone would read a different book, and then give a synopsis of it, and perhaps read the cover, and tell what it is about. We have a lot of readers in the club so this could be great to hear about other authors.

Online Inner Wheel was suggested and Kathlyn is looking into how this will work.

And also a Craft Club.

We would make use of Go To Meeting to facilitate these things if people are interested.

Paul asked what Inner Wheel is about, and Camilla came on and said that when it started it, was for wives of Rotarians and became a service club in its own right.

Colin put forward a fund rising idea. Its called Dry July.

Everyone puts the money they would normally spend on alcohol into a tin.

Colin will contact Greg and discuss it with him.

Geoff explained a bit more how the book club will work and Peta agreed as she is in a Book Club that works like this.

Paul put up an idea that travellers might like to discuss their trips and the interesting things they have seen and done.

Neil Mathews has put up his hand to speak to us next week about travelling the backroads of Australia.

Des Chilton has decided that even though he enjoyed the first 12 months Rotary was not for him.

RosHurn has also decided it is not for her as well.

So Des and Roswill not be renewing their memberships.

Meeting closed at 8.10pm
