Mutual Exchange is tenant led and therefore your responsibility. We can provide information and assistance and have Home Swap events to help you find a match.

How does it work?
-We recommendyou register with HomeSwapper.co.uk. HomeSwapper is free for Poplar HARCA tenants. You can also fill in our online form to register your interest with us.
-You can provide photographs and information to advertise your home to others.
-Youcan use the HomeSwapper search functions to find a match, filtering by location, home features and urgency.
-Users register their interest in your home and you can do the same with other properties.It is essential to arrange viewings as Mutual Exchanges are done on an 'as seen' basis.
-When you find a matchyou must notify us by completing ourMutual Exchange application form. We will then arrange a home visit and carry out relevant checks.
-When we have approved the swap, we will arrange a meeting where paperwork can be completed and tenancies signed over.

Your application to exchange may be refused if:
-You do not clear any rent arrears.
-Permission has not been obtained from the respective landlords. You must complete the relevant application forms to proceed with a match.

-Your property has features designed for someone with a special requirement which the swap would not fulfill.
