148 portfolio’s in submission, a few timeframes not being met because of further evidence being required.
Not all assessors are attending.
Expert portfolios have increased meaning we need more senior assessors to assess.
PGE due to be held next week we have 4 or 5 applications most are from Southern DHB.
Current Assessor training is 15th October 2015. Resource person training is 17th September.
Education session delivered over the last few months.
We have 1750 nurses Regional PDRP 809 are external
Trial Interim for Non PDRP Performance AppraisalsBurwood are trialling it in 3 areas, one of the CNM has put it out and are currently trialling.
10. Update from
Kaupapa Maori & Pacific Island Shared Services / EG- Have had a manager’s workshop giving a better understanding to the managers of PDRP. Had first Nurse workshop which was very successful. Looking at a peer review workshop to help nurses how they review each other.
11. Update from Health Care NZ / No Update
Senior Nurse Indicators / TW- Increase in SN Portfolio’s from 4 to 9 in 3months. Some of the SN are saying the indicators in domain 4 are not reflecting their work now as they have been removed from clinical practice to a more managerial role. Possibly a more generic indicator so the Senior Nurses could pick an indicator that meets their job description and area.
4.1 and 4.2 are very client based.
SJ- Thoughts are to create an extra one or two indicators that might reflect more senior levels. / SJ & TW to discuss ideas of creating new indicator / SJ &TW
External Moderation meeting Update / Can External moderation be held elsewhere other than Christchurch, discussions around having a face to face meeting twice a year and third time portfolio’s to be sent to different organisations and moderated.
Benefits of a couple of face to face, even have moderation done prior to meeting or Video conference could be an option.
Website / Everyone to check contact details and logo’s on website and pass on to PDRP if any changes needed so this can be updated. / All
