RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW ADOPTING LOCAL LAW No. 3 OF 2017

BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of Trustees hereby adopts Local Law#3 of 2017 in the form attached establishing twenty five (25) milesper hour as the maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed within the corporate limits of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, except on certain highways as enumerated in the Local Law.

A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER400 OF THE

CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW ENTITLED

“VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” concerning implementation of

A MAXIMUM 25 mph speed limit THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, New York, as follows:

Section 1. Section 400-60 of the Code of the Village Sleepy Hollow entitled “Maximum speed limits” is hereby repealed in its entirety and replaced with the following:

“Twenty five miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed within the corporate limits of this Village, except on the following highways:

Section 2. Local Law No.1 of 2017, adopted on February 14, 2017, is hereby deemed repealed and of no force and effect.

Section 3. The invalidity of any word, section, clause, paragraph sentence, part, or provision of this local law shall not affect the validity of any part of this local law which can be given effect without such invalid part or parts.

Section 4. This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon filing in the Office of the Secretary of State.
