Welcome, President’s Report- Elvie /- Reviewed Aug 2012 general assembly meeting minutes, corrections made. Agenda for this meeting - moved, seconded and approved.
- Please help Shawnee community and Shawnee Lions Club with Health Fair – have Babette coordinate.
- Support spiritual retreat in Wisconsin
- PNAA (E-Balita) inside PNAA
- KEPF drive from Letty Hermosa – donors to be channeled to PNAGKC.
- Per Beth, need to consult VP if one is in the chapter, need to go to right channel.

- Dec 14 Christmas party – questions came up to change date due to FAGKC’s party is the next day. The only available dates are Dec 1 or 21, there are no other venues available. Can’t find any place <1000
- After discussions – will keep Dec 14
- Discussed about possible change of day of the gen assembly meeting – some conflicts came up – will keep Thursdays.
- Jessamine suggested to explore different venues, Elvie will check the Westin hotel since we hold our dinner dance, they might be able to offer a meeting venue - these are just discussions and will be explored.
Treasurer -

- Unable to find balance sheet.
- 10/1/12 one CD matured, will continue
- 11/5/12 one CD maturing.
- Treasurer’s report needs to be submitted to National Treasurer accdg to Beth
- Lourdes trying to get online banking, but there are requirements that need to be submitted.
- There will be a separate meeting with Elvie, Lourdes, Cora, Joy and Arvin to work on the balance sheet.
- Balance so far is $18,699.72 as of 8/22/12
- Additional $300.00 as of 9/10/12
- There is a refund from Westin Crown Center from the dinner dance value $800.00 and it is with Mayie.

Community Service – Babbette/Cora /
- Health Fair, Medical Mission Packing = 68 hours and 30 minutes, plus Negros medical mission packing, not accounted yet.
- Several need for volunteers for Flu Shot administration 10/15, 10/12, 10/31, 11/10 & 11/17. Please check your e-mail. If interested, please e-mail Cora.
- Make sure you are licensed on the state where you will be volunteering for clinical work.
- Oct 20-21 – San Gabriel Church needs help for BP checks.
- Question about may be support Redemptorist Church for our community service
- Battered Women – Project Warmth, they are again asking for help accdg to Vicky. They want us to continue what we have done for the past 2 times that we were there.
- Will communicate with Babette regarding all of these.
Social and Hospitality- Moppette /
- Dinner Dance – April 13 – no report. E-mail Moppette if you have any suggestions.
- Camping was fun, geared for membership drive, but only end up with one renewal, no recruits.
- Jessamine mentioned that there was a parking issue at the camp
- Jessamine also suggested some team Building for example Thru Dinner/Happy Hour
- Suggested to have membership committee re-visit this
Tanglaw – Riz & Jessamine /
- According to Riz, there was no transition yet.
- Riz wanted to know the budget for Tanglaw.
- It was mentioned by Arvin that it is $500.00 and that $160.00 were already spent.
- Committee chairs needs to submit reports for Fall/Winter for the Spring/Summer issue.
Membership-
Babette/Cora /
- Need help with recruitment
- Application forms were passed around to assist everyone with recruitment
- Contest proposed for recruitment with some point system. Winner gets 2 chief tickets. Must have recruited by Nov 30.
- Membership committee will determine the points on all the recruited members.
Ways and Means – Joy / Lourdes /
- Spiritual Retreat to Wisconsin, Oct 26-28, cost for a big bus is $4,730 for 45+ people
- Small bus $4475
- Currently, only have 12 people signed up – may have to use a VAN
- Need to recruit more people. Trip costs $220/person.
- All the fees will be a fund for the PNAGKC, thanks to an anonymous and generous donor.
- If this event is a success, the plan will be no Bowling fundraiser this year.

PMF Updates

- During the PMF meeting, Health fair for Alpha Pointe was assessed. Question if it was worth it. Everyone worked so hard, but did not have a great turn out. The PMS and the PNAGKC is being given the option to decide if they want to continue this project.
- The FAGKC wanted to thank you for all your support, presence and for volunteering.
- PNAA – you should have received e-mail thru Yahoo groups the “Inside PNAA”, 2x a month Newsletter. There were 4 issues already.
- Beth’s meeting – PNAA wanted us to submit “Hands Off”, Accounting & Money.
- Nationals wanted to revive Treasurer’s Circle
- Need to have a membership form for every member
- Have a Minutes Book

- FABA – volleyball team – looking good, getting lots of cheers and exposure. You are all invited to come support the games, come and practice with the team.
